Albert “Al” Ainsworth

Albert “Al” Ainsworth was born on April 11, 1937, in Estelline, Texas, to Hiriam and Etta Marie (Doyal) Ainsworth. He passed away on December 10, 2013, in Eakly, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Al served in the United
States Navy. He worked all over while he worked in the oilfield. He started working at Great Plains Correctional Facility in 1996, and continued working there until 2010. He married Linda Phillips on September 26, 2001, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Al enjoyed fishing, riding his horse Prince, golfing, boating, and he loved to fly; and loved his dog Rockford Lee. Al was a workaholic and always stayed busy. He owned and operated A&C Rentals for many years. Survivors Include: his wife Linda Ainsworth of Eakly, Albert “Al” Ainsworth Oklahoma; his children: Alan Ainsworth and wife Connie of Texas, Anna Benedict and husband Bryan of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, Nancy  Harbuck and husband David of Dill City, Oklahoma, and James Ainsworth of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; mother of his children, Cleo Ainsworth of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; his extended adopted family, Ray Alan Lawrence 
of Elgin, Oklahoma, Kriket  Love of Binger, Oklahoma, Sammi Watson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rihana York of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, Shannon McGrath and husband  Jared of Kansas, and Cynthia Mundell of Florida; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren,  and one on the way, as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiriam and Etta Ainsworth, and one brother. Memorial Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Eakly, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Ray Weathers officiating.
