The family of James Ivy proudly announces that James has completed a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering at the OU Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. Commencement was May 11th, 2024 at 7:30 pm.
James is a graduate of Cordell High School, class of 2019. James will relocate to Woodward, Oklahoma and begin his career with Mewbourne Energy this June. Proud parents are Sarah Mears of Edmond, OK and Jake Ivy of Cordell, OK.
Grandparents are Earlena Shannon of Wichita, KS and the late Don Shannon, Terry Mears of Clayton, Alabama and Maridawn Mears of La Plata, NM, and Robert Ivy and the late Mary Ivy of Cordell, OK. The family celebrated James’ accomplishment with a reception on Saturday, May 11th in Norman, OK, attended by a host of friends and family.
