Walker and Moore Lead Cordell’s Standout Day at Kingfisher Meet

The Cordell Cross Country team delivered a remarkable performance at the Kingfisher Cross Country Meet on Saturday, September 28. Leading the charge in the high school girls division, Calliy Walker dominated the course, securing a well-earned first-place finish, Baylor Moore also brought home a medaL placing 22nd in a competitive field, while Jacob Vela impressed with a strong 13th-place finish.

In the junior high girls race, McKinley Moore proved unstoppable, claiming first place in a stellar display of endurance and skill. Easton Wall made his presence felt in the junior high boys event, finishing 21st and adding another medal to Cordell’s tally. Jaxon Jones had a thrilling finish but narrowly missed medaling by mere milliseconds, according to Cordell Schools* It w as a day full of exciting races and memorable achievements for Cordell's dedicated athletes.
