The Cordell Esports team delivered a strong Fall Season, securing a State Championship in Rocket League Trios and a Runner-Up finish in Rainbow Six. Competing in multiple games, the team displayed exceptional skill and teamwork.
Rocket League State Champions
Ranked #7 before playoffs, the Rocket League team surged to victory, defeating Ripley and Cheyenne 2-0 in the State Finals. Team Members: Dason Ramsey, Matthew Rodrique, Aaron Canterberry.
Rainbow Six: State Runner-Up
Despite challenges like schedule conflicts and illnesses, the Rainbow Six team ranked #4 going into playoffs. They overcame top-seeded Spiro 8-7 in the Semifinals but narrowly lost to Cyril in the Finals. Team Members: Dason Ramsey, Matthew Rodrique, Tyler Webb, Gideon Thompson, Bently Carter, Cade Boecker, Matthew Fuller (final matches).
Smash Bros: Top Performers
Out of 242 competitors, three players placed in the Top 20 at State: Hunter Hamlett (6th), Roberto Aguilar (7th), and Zack Dobbs (13th).
Other Highlights
Valorant: Reached playoffs, showing promise for next season. Aaron Canterberry, Rainey Cooper, Isabella Doughty, Gracynn Holman, Ivie Plamer, and Kennedi Moore were team members.
Street Fighter: Two players, Zack Dobbs and Kiahnna Wilson, advanced to playoffs. Unfortunately, the pair did not advance further.
