Cordell Cross Country Success: Two Blue Devils Headed to State Finals

On Saturday, October 26th, Cordell High School's cross-country athletes put on quite the performance in Enid at the regional competition held at Oklahoma Bible Academy.

With spirit and a purpose, the Blue Devils hit the trails against tough competitors, displaying their hard work and drive on the course.

Leading the pack was Calliy Walker, who brought home the gold with a notable performance, claiming her hard-earned first-place title. Jacob Vela also gave a highly impressive finish, showcasing his strength, hard work, and dedication to the sport. Both athletes' exceptional efforts have earned them a spot in the upcoming State competition. Walker and Vela will represent Cordell at the State cross-country meet, set to take place on Saturday, November 2nd, in Edmond. With the excitement of regional success behind them, the Blue Devils are eagerly preparing to take on the State competition.
