to All-District teams
Several Cordell High School (CHS) football players have been named to All-District teams. Players are nominated for a variety of reason, including performance, attitude, and work ethic, all of which CHS football players have shown countless times through the season with their excellent sportsmanship and athleticism.
Congratulations are in order for these athletes! Named to the 1st All-District Team were JD Maddox – linebacker and Jordan Wood – defensive back. Named to the 2nd All-District Team were Dayton Bartlett – running back, Tucker Priebe – offensive line, Kadon Riviera – defensive line, Alex Kennedy – linebacker, and Aiden Middendorf – defensive back.
Head Football Coach Cody Gilmore said “I am proud of not only these young men, but all of the young men that worked so hard this year. I wish we could recognize them all, but am very proud of the ones that are being recognized.”
Both sets of All-District Team members will receive a patch for their letterman jackets and will be recognized at the All-Sports Banquet at the end of the school year.
