    Chickasha 7, Cordell 2

    The Cordell Lady Blue Devils soccer team played their first game of the season last week against Chickasha. Erin Dudgeon led the team in scoring in this game, bringing in two points for the Devils. Dudgeon's efforts were complemented by Goalie Andrea Palmer, who snatched 12 saves.

    Chickasha 5, Cordell 1

    The Cordell Blue Devil soccer team was unable to bring home a win in their first game of the season.

    In their first battle of the year, the Cordell boys fought not only the Chickasha soccer team, but also a thunderstorm that caused the game to end 22 minutes early. Senior Cameron Cochran scored the team's only point, and goalie Bryson Ramirez kept eight enemy shots from getting into Cordell’s net.
