Franklin Lee Martin, (Frank) passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2025, in Cordell, OK. He was born on January 1, 1962, to Marcus and Glenda (Igo) Martin, in Cordell, OK. He grew up and attended school in Cordell.
In his first marriage, he and Barbara Patton had 3 children. Later in life he met and married the love of his life, Sherri Hardin, and gained 2 more children. Franklin worked driving a truck in the Oilfield. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, and cooking out. Franklin will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He had a much larger impact on our lives than he even knew! If he were to see me struggling to write this, he’d jokingly tell me “you’re burning daylight!”.
Survivors include his wife: Sherri Martin, Dill City, OK; brother: Marcus Martin; children: Jason Martin, Mikey Martin, Jennifer Martin, Eddie Mendez Jr. and Anna Mae Davis; and many grand/great-grandchildren Preceded in death by Father: Marcus Martin and Mother: Glenda (Igo) Martin
