Dee Hines, 86, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on October 18, 1939, in Rocky, Oklahoma, to Lonnie and Nora (Atkinson) Hines. Dee grew up and attended school in Cordell and graduated from Cordell High School in 1957. He attended trade school in Springfield, Missouri. Dee raised two daughters: Rhonda and Christy.
He was owner and operator of his own business, “Hines Garage.”
When Dee wasn’t working, he enjoyed building classic cars and watching the Good Doctor with Abby.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his family.
Survivors include his daughters: Rhonda Scoggin, Cordell, OK and Christy Harris & husband Robert, Cordell, OK. Grandchildren: Trevor Kuczajda & wife Darcy, Cordell, OK, Leigha Dallas, Cordell, OK, Andy Dallas & wife Rya, Cordell, OK, Mekhya Smith & husband Shawn, Cordell, OK, Morgan Scoggin & wife Tarrah, Clinton, OK, Abby Harris, Cordell, OK, and Cayli Harris, Cordell, OK.
He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great-Children, brother: Floyd Hines, Fort Cobb, OK, sister: Wanda Rizzi, Cordell, OK and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Preceded in death by Parents: Lonnie and Nora Hines; Son-in-law: Mike Scoggin; Grandchild: Travis Scoggin; 3 Brothers: Frank, Lloyd, Walton; and 5 Sisters: Angie, Jane, Faye, Arvella, and Melva.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 4th & College Church of Christ, Cordell, Oklahoma. Interment: Strickland Cemetery, Cordell, Oklahoma.
