Cordell Memorial Hospital

A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO

May is here, we celebrate our nurses and the second week we have Hospital Week. Please see our posts on Facebook and any nurse or CMH employee you see and know be sure to thank them for their service and commitment to you!!! We celebrate all staff during the year so please keep checking our Facebook page for our celebrations.

Hospital Week gives the opportunity to acknowledge the work that our staff is committed to bringing you excellent service and excellent care. We could not do enough to show how much we appreciate every member of our team.

May is Mental Health month, and we will be wearing green during the month to support the awareness of mental health. The color green represents renewal, hope and vitality. Join us in wearing green to help show support and break down the stigma. Mental Health Awareness month has led the effort to promote mental wellness nationwide. There is a table in our dining room with information on Mental Health Awareness, come by the check it out.

We will also be expanding our mental health services in the coming months, watch Facebook and articles with the information.

We want to thank those that came to CMH for annual spring Health Fair. It was an opportunity to do a quick check on your health and learn ways to live healthily.

April and May are months when many allergies come to life, not pleasant surprises. The wind, the blooming, and pollen are all triggers to our allergies. Our providers are here to help you.

There are many things happening in the health care world and we stay informed to keep you covered and provide many services to keep you here at home. Please look at our webpage or contact us for any questions or to check what services we have for you.

I hope you have enjoyed the highlights of staff and departments at CMH on our Facebook page. We celebrate all our employees and want you too also. We are one team caring for you!!!

For your health and wellness,

Melinda
