Due to scheduling conflicts, the Cordell Band fundraiser at the Washita Theater has been changed from March 26 - 28 to April 2-4, 2026.
Thursday and Friday, April 2 -3, doors open at 6:00 p.m. and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will begin at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, doors open at 4:00 p.m. and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will begin at 5:00 p.m.
The weekend fundraiser will benefit the Cordell High School Band, whose members will be working alongside theater staff throughout the event.
Students will help run the concession stand during the movie and will assist with cleaning the theater afterward. In return, the band will receive a percentage of concession sales and all funds from donation jars that will be placed around the theater lobby.
Community members don’t have to see the movie to show their support. Everyone is welcome to come by, purchase concessions, or drop a donation for the award-winning Cordell Blue Devil Band!
