On February 9,2026, the Cordell 4-H group visited 1491 Produce. Linda and Eric Harbin showed us their plants. They have a hydroponic growing operation. They don’t use soil for their plants. They use what’s called Perlite. Perlite looks like little white crystals. They water them with Cordell water and have a unique way of watering them. They have a wall that turns on and off but keeps the room about 75 to 80 degrees. They sell their plants to whoever wants to buy them. They sell them at stores, too. We all learned a lot about plants.
