The Blue Devil Pee Wee wrestling team delivered an outstanding performance at the Southwest Regional Wrestling Tournament held in Norman on February 14, 2026, with numerous athletes earning top finishes and advancing to the prestigious state competition.
All regional placers punched their ticket to the 48th Annual OKWA State Tournament, set for February 21–22 at the OG&E Coliseum under the leadership of coaches Josh Dickerson and Chad McDaugale.
Leading the way were six regional champions who each captured first-place honors in their respective brackets: Vera Burch, Preslie Dickerson, Trapper McDaugale, Hunter Larsen, Kalley Fuller, and Mason Hileman.
Adding to the team’s success were strong runner-up finishes from Tyson Dickerson, Oakley Elizondo, and Paisley Campbell.
Madisson Lopez and Rowan Larsen also claimed a third-place finish, while Braxton Campbell and Grayson Noe each battled to fourth-place finishes. Cooper Chagollia and Ruger Elizondo rounded out the list of state qualifiers with sixth-place finishes, ensuring their spots at the upcoming state tournament.
Durham Ivey competed hard throughout the day but did not place.
With a large group of qualifiers advancing, the Blue Devils now turn their focus to the OKWA State Tournament, where they will look to build on their regional success and compete against the best wrestlers from across Oklahoma.
