Barbara Ann Palmer, 82, of Cordell, OK went to meet her husband of 62 years at the pearly gates of Heaven on January 24, 2026.
She is survived by her son Scott Palmer and wife Lanna, three grandchildren, Jordan Palmer, Kennedy Palmer and Grayson Palmer and one great granddaughter, Sage.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Troy, parents Virgil & Pauline Dawson, brother Danny Dawson and sister- in-law Kay Dawson.
She was born in Cordell, Ok September 18, 1943. Her family moved to Phillips, TX where she graduated from High School. She worked as a secretary for a couple years before meeting her husband in Borger, TX where they married in 1963. She was a homemaker throughout their marriage. They moved to Pampa, TX for several years, then resided in Odessa, TX for many years before coming back to her birthplace of Cordell, OK after Troy retired.
She will forever be remembered and loved!
Her husband passed away only four months earlier. A dual memorial service will be held for both Barbara and Troy where they will be laid to rest together at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger, TX at 11:00 on Friday February 13, 2026.
