Cordell Memorial Hospital

A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO

It is less than ten days until Christmas and the days of cold help it feel like December. I want to start by thanking everyone who helped with the Angel Trees this year. Many of you participated, there were people from community churches, families, our staff and patients who all helped to make Christmas brighter for those in our communities. There were over 100 angels on the trees this year.

December is the month of giving.

Giving has the power to improve mood and spread happiness to others. There was lots of happiness shared this year.

We continue to support the Community Hygiene Drive with SWODA and have boxes at the hospital and the clinic for you to provide items. These items will be shared with schools, Sr. Citizens centers and others who have the need. The boxes will be picked up on Friday, December 19.

As we look to the end of 2025 and look forward to 2026, we want to thank you for your support of Cordell Memorial Hospital and Clinics. We are very grateful and honored to be here for you and look to see new things coming in 2026.

As I mentioned previously, we have a new physician coming to the community in February. We are looking at additional services to be added to the Family Health Clinic and the Specialty Clinic.

There will also be a Community Needs Assessment done in 2026.

Our last assessment was completed in 2023 and many of the services identified have been started and we want to meet your needs in the coming years.

Any time please contact us at 580832-3339 and/or keep up with what’s happening on our Facebook page.

We wish you the Merriest of Christmas and wonderful prosperous New Year.

For your health and wellness,

Melinda
