The Cordell Chamber of Commerce is inviting everyone to celebrate the magic of the season with “Home for the Holidays: Shop Cordell,” a monthlong community campaign encouraging residents and visitors to shop local and support Cordell’s small businesses this Christmas.
Running from November 17 through December 17, the campaign shines a spotlight on local shops, restaurants, and service providers that help make Cordell a vibrant and welcoming community.
“This campaign is all about bringing people back into our local stores and reminding everyone that when you shop local, you’re giving back to your community,” said Sarah Lau, Executive Director of the Cordell Chamber of Commerce. “Our small businesses are the heart of Cordell, and this is the perfect time to show them some love.”
Holiday festivities will include Christmas on the Square on December 4, featuring vendors, entertainment, and family fun, as well as the Cordell Christmas Bazaar on December 6–7. The Chamber will highlight local businesses on Facebook throughout the campaign, showcasing the faces and stories behind each storefront.
Community members are encouraged to follow the Chamber’s Facebook page, share photos of their favorite local finds, and use the hashtag #Home-ForTheHolidays to spread the word.
