Now on the 28th day of July 2025, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Gossen calling the meeting to order.

Prayer was led by Vice-Chairman Chandler. The Board reviewed the minutes of the previous regular meeting. Motion made by Gray seconded by Chandler to approve the minutes as presented. Gossen, yes; Gray, yes; Chandler, yes.
Motion made by Gray seconded by Chandler to approve the blanket purchase orders as filed in the County Clerk’s Office. Gossen, yes; Gray, yes; Chandler, yes.
Motion made by Chandler seconded by Gray to sign the OSF Form 3 for reimbursement of the Election Board secretary salary for the month of June from the State Election Board. Gossen, yes; Gray, yes; Chandler, yes.
Motion made by Chandler seconded by Gray to approve the agreement between Canadian County and Washita County for the housing of Canadian County inmates for July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026. Gossen, yes; Gray, yes; Chandler, yes.
The Board opened Bid No. 2025-04 for the upfitting of a Ford F550 for the Dill City Fire Department. Bids were received from the following: Copeland’s Welding - $46,500.00. Motion made by Gray seconded by Chandler to award the bid to Copeland’s Welding, the only bid received. Gossen, yes; Gray, yes; Chandler, yes.
The Board discussed the available fund for the FY2026 budget for Washita County. No action was taken.
