Peggy was born in Duluth, MN on February 17, 1950 to Margaret (Antus) Tulonen and Robert “Bob” Croft. She moved her family to Cordell in 1970.
Peggy was a longtime resident of Cordell and in 2023 she moved to Oklahoma City to be closer to family to care for her health issues. She passed peacefully on June 17, 2025.
Peggy was a devoted mother and would brag about her children that she raised as a single mother. She was also an avid crafter and you could find her at many craft events selling her creations, from homemade candies to crocheted items. She earned her Bachelors Degree later in life and worked at Alco as their office bookkeeper. She also loved her furry felines and would feed the local strays in Cordell.
Peggy is survived by her children, Lisa Norris of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronnie Norris and wife Nhovie of Clinton, OK, James Norris and wife Dana of Aline, OK, her brother Jim Croft and wife Carole of Oak Harbor, WA, her sisters, Barbara Fuller, Judy Suzick and Mary Francis Bennett and husband Andy, all from Duluth, MN, her half brother, Robert “Robbie” Croft of Oklahoma City, OK and her half sister, Beth Boyd of Colorado Springs, CO, her grandchildren, Mckinzie(Norris) Hernandez of Clinton, OK, Laramie Norris of Burns Flat, OK, Landry Norris of Oklahoma City, OK, Laeklin Norris and Cece of Oklahoma City, OK, Colton Mathes and Makalee of Rocky, OK, Quinton Mathis and Ryanne of Aline, OK, Shaylin Mathes of Longdale, OK, Elijah Norris of Clinton, OK and her great grandchildren, Sophia Norris, Weston Norris, Treyton Mathes, Tinsley Mathes and Silas Hernandez.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Robert “Bob” Croft and Margaret (Antus) Tulonen and her first grandson, Dustin Wayne Norris.
