Donnie Lavern Boggs passed away on June 6, 2025, in Cordell, Oklahoma.
He was born on February 2, 1959, in Cordell to Roy and Mattie Fay Boggs and spent his entire life in the town he called home.
Donnie grew up in Cordell and attended school there, graduating with the Class of 1977. He went on to spend his life working as a farmer—dedicated to the land, the seasons, and the quiet rhythm of rural life. Farming wasn’t just his job; it was who he was.
Known for his steady presence and kind heart, Donnie was a man of few words but strong character.
He enjoyed simple things: a good day in the field, friendly conversations, and the comfort of familiar places and people.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
