Mickey Lee Allen, 59, of Cordell, OK passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on January 5, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Mickey was born on September 10, 1965 in Cordell, OK to Jim and Obera (McClure) Allen. He grew up and attended school in Cordell and was a graduate of the class of 1983. Mickey was an avid sports fan. He was the Blue Devils number one supporter and especially loved football and basketball. Mickey was best known for his deep passion for the Oklahoma Sooners. He and his mother, Obera, spent many years following and attending Sooner football and basketball games. Thanks to sooner sports, Mickey developed many special, lifelong friendships.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Jim and Obera Allen, Maternal Grandparents Charles and Callie McClure, and Paternal Grandparents Lee and Maude Allen In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mickey’s name can be made to the First United Methodist Church, Cordell, OK, or the Cordell High School Athletic Department.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
Visitation: 3:00 p.m.8:00 p.m., Thursday, January, 9, 2025 and 1:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2025, Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
Interment: Lawnview Cemetery, Cordell, Oklahoma..
