Tommy Jack Dawson died Monday, August 12, 2024 in Cordell, Oklahoma at the age of 59.
He was born May 21, 1965 in Cordell to Elwin (Eddie) ad Dianne Dawson.
Tommy grew up in Allison, Texas, Cordell, Custer City, and Indiahoma.
He was a 1984 graduate of Indiahoma High School.
Tommy’s working career was spent in concrete and road construction. He worked in Forth Worth, Texas, and Lawton, and then spent many years working for Sewell Brothers Construction.
Tommy was very resourceful and creative. He enjoyed fishing, movies, and the casinos.
He loved sports, was an avid OU Sooners fan, and especially loved watching his brother, Bobby, coach basketball.
He is survived by a sister, Deanna, and her husband, Steve; two brothers, Billy, and his wife Carre; Bobby, and his wife, Jami; and two nieces, Sarah and her husband, Russell; and Peyton. Also, like a brother to him and his best friend, Brian Madison.
His parents and brother-in-law Patrick Pierce preceded him in death.
He chose cremation, and no services are planned at this time.
