Jackie Shannon Montgomery La Liberte, 88, of Brookeville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024. She was born on February 14, 1936, to J.C. and Fanny Loretha (Martin) Shannon in Cordell, Oklahoma.
Jackie grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School in 1954.
She married George E Montgomery, he preceded her in death in 1966.
Jackie later married Eugene La Liberte in Spokane, Washington.
She was the Secretary for 4th & College Church of Christ for over 20 years.
Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include: Son: George Kurtis Montgomery & wife Jennette, Hydro, OK. Grandchildren: Casey Witvoet & husband Albert, Yukon, OK, Michele Perring & husband Steve, Cordell, OK, Misty Lynn Wakefield, McAlester, OK, and Daniel Gentry Norwalk, CT. She is also survived by numerous Great Grandchildren and 1 Great -Great Grandchild.
Brothers: John Paul Shannon & wife Sandra, La Grande, OR; Stanley Shannon & wife Jill, Middletown, IN; Sister: Kathleen Peters, DuBois, PA, and Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Preceded in death by her Parents: J.C. & Fanny Shannon, Son: J.C. Shannon Jr., and Daughter: Teresa “Teri” Alexander.
Graveside: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Lawnview Cemetery Cordell, Oklahoma.
