Spring Break means OYE for the stock show people. OYE stands for Oklahoma Youth Expo. OYE is the World’s Largest junior livestock show. Burns Flat-Dill City 4-H is well represented by Aubrey Sturgeon showing beef cattle. Brance and Braxton Barnett are representing in the marketplace. Aubrey Sturgeon, a member of the Burns Flat-Dill City 4-H club, had an amazing show at OYE. OYE is the largest youth livestock show in the world. This year there were more than 25,000 entries. Aubrey had a top 10 steer! That is amazing. Aubrey ‘s steer was the 18th animal sold at the Sale of Champions. The Sale of Champions was a sight to behold at the Jim Norrick Arena with live music, a premium sale that set records and the top 212 animals. This was the finale of a year of hard work and a 10 day livestock show. Congratulations Aubrey. Many BF-DC Sr. 4-H members have started their state record books that are due soon. Our next meeting will be March 24th after school. Dress Revue and Appropriate Dress is March 29th. I hope everyone had a fun and safe spring break.
