Letter To The Beacon

Hector,

Your ballpoint pen, three-ring binder is back. Thank you for acknowledging my previous letter.

My two daughters Kathy Hewitt and Karee Steele planned a sit down dinner for my 98th birthday. To my surprise my cousin’s (Lois Green McKee) son, Ronnie McKee and his wife Maritz, were there.

Ronnie has been my Cordell family contact for years. As a retired rural postal carrier, insurance sales, school board member, and rancher, he and your Cordell Beacon have kept me in touch with my HOMETOWN.

Keep up our good work.

Alfred Green
