Foss water rate hike forces City Council to pass increase on to consumers

The Cordell City Council has approved a water rate increase in response to rising costs from the Foss Reservoir Master Conservancy District (MCD).In March 2024, Foss Reservoir MCD implemented a 38% rate hike, increasing the water rate from $4.02 to $5.56 per thousand gallons.
