As the school year comes to an end, Washita County communities prepare to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2026. Communities will hold graduation ceremonies across the county throughout May, giving family members and friends opportunities to honor local seniors as they take their next steps.

On Friday, May 15, two Washita County schools will host simultaneous graduation ceremonies. Cordell High School will hold its commencement at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium at 418 N. East Avenue. That same evening, Sentinel High School will also host its ceremony at 7:00 p.m. in the Sentinel school auditorium at 708 E. Washington Street.

The following week, ceremonies continue on Friday, May 22. Canute High School will host its graduation at 7:00 p.m. in the Canute Gymnasium, located at the southeast corner of campus on 4th Street.
