Friday night, January 16, following the Cordell Lady Blue Devils’ 51–37 victory over the Sayre Eagles, sophomore Tralynn White slipped on the headset to help commentate the live radio broadcast, and quickly stole the show. White’s confident delivery, on-the-mark calls, and witty responses made for an entertaining live feed for listeners. Sitting alongside well-known Cordell sports commentator Dudley Simpson, White impressed throughout the broadcast as Simpson looked on with nothing but smiles.
