The Cordell Farmer’s Market is returning this spring, bringing local vendors, homemade goods, and community fun back to downtown.
Hosted by the Cordell Chamber of Commerce, the market will kick off its season on Monday, April 6, in the Pocket Park on South Market. After the opening date, the market will be held on the first Monday of each month through October from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The market will feature a variety of local vendors offering items such as baked goods, freeze-dried candy, apothecary products, handmade crafts, goat milk soaps, and more. Organizers currently have around 10 vendors signed up for each market and are continuing to welcome additional participants.
The Cordell Farmer’s Market originally began last year and saw a strong community turnout. With the support of the Chamber and local businesses, organizers are excited to bring it back and continue growing the event.
“The Farmer’s Market is important because it supports our small businesses and brings people out to the town square to see everything our community has to offer,” said Sarah Lau, Executive Director of the Cordell Chamber of Commerce.
“Our goal this year is to make it a night where families can come out, enjoy the evening in Cordell, and pick up some delicious items for their meals during the week.”
As the season progresses, organizers hope to add even more activities to enhance the market experience. Plans include kid-friendly activities, live music, food trucks, and local businesses offering dinner options to create a relaxed evening atmosphere in downtown Cordell.
Vendors are still being accepted for the 2026 season. The cost is $10 per market, or vendors can sign up for the full seven-market season for $60.
