Greg Chandler would like to announce his candidacy for re-election as Washita County Commissioner, District 3.
Over the past three years, Chandler has been committed to infrastructure improvements, addressing local concerns, and fostering economic growth in Washita County.
He and his crew have been busy repairing roads throughout their district, including chip-sealing several new miles, replacing dilapidated drainage pipes, and clearing ditches. They have also been able to assist the schools and municipalities in the district with some of their needs.
“None of this would have been possible without the great District 3 employees who shared my vision and contributed their hard work and dedication to completing these projects,” Chandler said.
Chandler currently serves on multiple boards, including SWODA, the Tax Roll Correction Board, the Washita County Public Facilities Authority, and the Cordell Memorial Hospital Board. He also serves as chairman of the Washita County Commissioners.
He has served on the Community Action Development Authority, 911, and Circuit Engineering District 7 boards, which he states has been an honor.
Chandler emphasized “I have been, and will continue to be, committed to ensuring the voices of our citizens and communities are heard, providing support, promoting growth, and ensuring safety in our area.”
“I look forward to continuing to serve the citizens of Washita County, working as a team with state, county, and local leaders, as well as emergency personnel and District 3 employees, to make Washita County a great place to live.”
