After a challenging, but none-the-less rewarding season, Cordell Blue Devil Soccer is proud to announce this year’s All-State athlete Aiden Middendorf. Beyond any doubt, Middendorf will go above and beyond, leaving it all on the field.
Middendorf is the 18-year-old son of John and Kim Jones. His athleticism and sportsmanship have contributed to the athlete he is today. After five years of competitive soccer, and closing this chapter, Middendorf will play for the West representing Cordell High School on Monday, June 10, at 8:00 pm at Newcastle High School.
“When Coach Taylor made the announcement that I had made the All-State I was in shock. I did not believe it. My expectations for the game are the same as every game I play. I expect to play hard and give it my all trying to win. I hope the experience is fun and taken seriously because we were all chosen to play in that game for a reason,” expressed Middendorf.
This fall Middendorf plans to continue his academic career at Oklahoma Christian University.
“I would like to thank every single teammate I had through the five years of my soccer career for giving me memories and teaching me so much more about the game. To my coaches I want to thank you for teaching me everything I know about this great sport and giving me the tools to make it on the All-State team to represent Cordell High School.”
