October is here even though it still feels like August or September. The warm temperatures keep us trying to stay cool and always hydrated.
During this month CMH is offering lung screens to raise awareness about lung disease, October is Healthy Lung Month. You can schedule your lung screen for $50 during the month of October. We are also offering services with the Pulmonary Department at St. Anthony’s to provide tele visits with pulmonology specialist to help with lung disease. The Pulmonary Rehab program at CMH is here to help you have a more active life.
October is also the time of year that the flu vaccine is available and we want to encourage you to get your flu shot. The CMH Family Clinic has the flu vaccine for you and is available to provide them.
The OU Mammobus will be here on October 28 for you to receive your mammogram. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can schedule on your own or through your physician. We have posters at the Family Clinic and Women’s Clinic.
The CMH Women’s Clinic is off to a great start since they began this past June. We thank those who have come and we encourage you to come if you haven’t had the chance to meet the wonderful team.
