A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO
Merry Christmas from all of us at Cordell Memorial Hospital. It has been a busy year but we are so blessed to be a part of this community.
Christmas is a joyous time and I want to help you keep that time special for you and your family. This year has been rough with all the illness going around. From flu, COVID, RSV and could old fashion cold and allergies it has been a hard season for all us.
I want to encourage you with the front line fight by sanitizing hands or washing your hands after every sneeze, blow nose and/ or being around those with same.
This is the front line prevention for everyone. It is also encouraged to wear masks when you feel sick or when you may be in a large group of people that you don’t know, like shopping. Be safe!
There have been many services that have been added at CMH this past year and we are very happy to expand services to keep you at home and have information to provide to any specialist you are seeing.
The addition of more Infusion Services to our expansion within Radiology services, Nuclear Medicine testing and the 64-slice CT. We also added a full-time Nurse Practitioner to the Family Medicine Clinic. Abby Parker joined Dr. Abernathy and Darrell Hill providing 3 full time providers for Cordell.
We look forward to more coming in 2023 with the expansion of our wound service in January. We are also looking to add more providers to our community with scheduled times at the Specialty Clinic or Full-time clinic.
Information will be provided as services are growing and always know that we are here for you 24/7.
I will end with a thank you for all the blessings that the staff at CMH provide to me and to you. They are a special group of people who have a great passion to provide you with the best information and best care. We are continuing to look at ways to provide more to our community, please let me know if you have suggestions on what we can do for you. Please call 580-832-- 3339. Merry Christmas,
For your health and wellness,
Melinda
