A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO

Merry Christmas to you and your families. We are so glad to be providing your health care and look forward to 2022.

During the holiday time of year we spend time with our families and friends. It is a time to reconnect especially after the past year when we were limited or not able to spend time together. It is important to share with those we care about the importance of vaccinating against COVID and during this time of year, flu. Flu is appearing more this year than the previous year and this is related to us being out and about in crowds.

When we spend time together it is important to remember the simple thing we can do to protect each other. The most important is to wash your hands, especially if you are the one preparing food. Good soap and water is the best but when we are on the go so much hand sanitizers work. We all need to practice good hand washing during cold and flu season.

If you should have a cold or are not feeling well, it may be hard but it is always best to stay home especially if you have a fever. Should there be no fever but you are coughing or sneezing, please use the mask. Also, rest during this busy time may not come easy but is a value to us getting through holidays and staying healthy.

We, CMH want you to have a safe, healthy happy holiday!! I will be sharing with you in future articles the exciting things coming to CMH in 2022.

Merry Christmas, For your health and wellness,

Melinda
