Washita County OHCE Association presents awards

The Oklahoma Home & Community Education Association of Washita County recently held their spring county council meeting. During this meeting they recognized 2021 Award Winners and new members for 2022.

Each local club received $25 for their work and continued support of the county OHCE program. Perfect Attendance included Lowayne Piercey, Anna Prickett and Jane Shull from Dill Work & Play; Karen Turner from Modern Homemakers; and Lois Johnson from Willing Workers. The photography award went to Jane Shull and the Heart of OHCE was Lowayne Piercey. Shull’s photos and Piercey’s award application were sent on to the district for judging.

New members included Veda Brown from Dill Work & Play; Phyllis Boothe and Linda Miller from Modern Homemakers; and Jacque Rivera, Belinda Shobert, Lynn Ferrari, Verena Misener, Lona Horton and Barbara Larson from Willing Workers.
