Modern Homemakers met at the OSU Extension Center on March 7, 2022 at 6:30 pm. Members brought box meals and Linda Miller served a delicious cheese cake with blueberries and cherries. President Vickie Foster called the meeting to order with the flag salute. Foster called role by asking members if they have heard of Food Bombs before. Those in attendance were Paula Stafford, Becky Snow, Becky Sander, Karen Turner, Vickie Foster, Brenda Bonham, Karen Wedel, Linda Miller, and Phyllis Booth. Snow gave the thought of the day, St. Patrick’s Day 2022. Secretary Sander read the previous month’s meeting. Minutes were approved as read. Treasurer Turner gave the treasurer’s report. Wedel gave the Parliamentarian Point – Objective of our home and community education. Miller presented the program ‘Life’s a Bomb’ with handouts. Booth discussed her participation as Mr. Tooth at the Greer County at Mangum. Next month’s meeting will be April 4, 2022 at 6:30 pm.
