I feel the need to address the Superintendent issues. After reading [the last few] week’s letters to the Editor I felt like our school system as a whole needs some postive. So here’s my postive.. Mr. Victory has always demonstrated compassion and always been respectful towards me.
I subbed at the Jr/High school last school year.
When I needed a recommendation letter for my child to go back to headstart for a second year he had no problem at all doing that for me.
When I wanted my son’s football jersey after my son passed away he gave it to me without any questions. When I wanted to talk to him about the elementary playground needing updated he listened to everything I had to say. And he agreed it needs to be updated.
Do I always agree with him? No. But mature adults can disagree in a respectful matter and still be classy about it. I for one think he’s done a great job considering all the backlash he has received. He’s done it with class because he truly cares about the good of our students and school. I really don’t think he’s been giving a fair chance to show what he can do with our school system!
Just think- everyone who is against Mr. Victory- if they were for him what good things can be accomplished.
It’s so easy to point out ALL the bad in someone. If we could point good things out just think about how much better life could be be! Blue Devil proud!
