Dear Farmers Co-op Farmers and Families, We have been continuing to work on the co-op’s history project, compiling all the families throughout the community over the past 100+ years. As many of you might have noticed, we recently updated the images at the Bessie Co-op to give it a similar showcase to the Cordell Co-op.
We want to add to the history book we are creating, adding the memories of your photos, families, farms, and harvests of the past, and the deep-rooted history of the Farmers Co-op. We are requesting that you visit the co-op to provide the history behind the photos displayed at the Bessie and Cordell Co-op, including names, dates, years, make and model of the tractors, combines, and the farm names associated with them. Our ultimate goal is to compile all the information into a book that includes the Co-op family history, as well as linking the information to the photos showcased in the Co-op.
