At the council meeting on Monday night the new Mayor Phil Kliewer and five council people along with the City Clerk took the oath of office. A new group to be in control of our beautiful town! Let’s all do our part and back them 100% and take an interest in what is going on.
Remember the old day (25 years ago) when on April 19th evrey four years we celebrated the Cheyenne-Arapaho days? The men like Walk Krewall, Buck Merrill, Bill Lowber and Homer Duke and many others grew beards and everyone dressed western. We had a parade, contest, and lots of fun. Memories are wonderful!
Everyone remember that the week of April 2428 is Spring Clean Up. You must turn in the form which was sent with your April utility bill before noon on Friday, April 21st. There will only be one pickup made by the City of Cordell.
