This week our Cordell Blue Devil Student Spotlight is non other than Renee Javorsky. Renee is a senior and the captain for basketball, soccer and cheer. Along with her active involvement in sports and school council, she still makes time to enjoy the company of her friends and family, Continue reading to see what her plans are for after graduation.
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am the cheer captain, basketball captain and soccer captain. I am an active member in student council. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends in my free time.
What is your favorite subject in school and why?
My favorite subject has always been history class because I like to learn about the history of the world and the people that came before us.
What is something memorable you have done/experienced this school year so far?
My favorite memory of senior year so far has been from football homecoming because we won our float as a senior class.
What has been your favorite part of school and why?
My classmates are my favorite part of school because without them then school would be boring. I love all the random class conversations we have during class.
What is something your fellow classmates would be surprised to know about you?
I cannot sleep without rain sounds playing.
Is there anything upcoming that you are looking forward to?
I am looking forward to prom and graduation. I can't wait to dance the night away with all my friends, and walk across the stage with my fellow classmates.

What is it that motivates you to try to do well in class?
My future motivates me because I want to be able to support myself and a possible family someday.
How do you like to spend your free time when you're not in school?
I like to sit on my porch and read books or watch rom coms.
What are your plans looking like for after you graduate? What type of career do you want to try and pursue?
I plan on going to the University of Oklahoma and major in dental hygiene.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
I am so thankful for all the teachers, coaches and administration that have helped me in my journey through high school. I would also like to thank God for blessing me with these wonderful relationships.
