Hi, my name is Francesca Bloomer and I am proud to announce that I am the 2022-2023 4-H reporter for the Cordell 4-H club here in Washita County. I am 13 years old and attend Cordell Junior High and this is my 7th year in 4-H. My parents are Gil and Danielle Bloomer and I have a younger sister named Kali. I am very excited to report on behalf of our club. On Tuesday, November 1st, Cordell 4-H club met with 17 members in total - this was our second meeting this year. At this meeting we talked about the upcoming Washita County 4-H Bean Supper and Carnival. This event will take place on Monday, November 14th, beginning at 5:00 pm at the Washita County Activity Center. If you have not gotten your tickets yet, please contact your local 4-H member as soon as possible. Tickets will also be available at the door and there is the option to get your meal to-go. Club officers were elected at this time, and I would like to introduce our officers. Our President is Aubrey Sturgeon of Rocky, Vice President -Korben Gossen of Corn, Secretary -Bailey Gossen of Corn, Treasurer- Delainee Moore of Cordell, Reporter -Francesca Bloomer of Cordell, and Game Leader – Brett Sturgeon of Rocky. I cannot wait to see what 4-H has in store for our club this year and we want to thank our community for supporting Washita County 4-H.
