BF-DC Weekly 4H Report

(Editor’s note: News for both the week of December 23rd and December 29th are included in this article)

It’s Christmas week and for the BF-DC Sr. 4-H, it’s the time for blessings. Our club has set up a blessing box at BF-DC high school. If you need any toiletries or canned food, they are available for pick up. Donations can be put in the box for those in need. This blessing box is actually finishing a project started by our former club president, Jordan Mason, due to restrictions could not get it set up before she graduated, so this fall with the help of the football team our club finally installed it. Our club members also went shopping to fill the blessing box with all kinds of canned goods and other essentials. Our club also has 3 more Christmas trees and some more decorations to give away, if you or someone you know needs one you can contact Larissa Mason or a club member. Merry Christmas from the BF-DC Sr. 4-H club! This is the week after Christmas and it’s the time for thinking of the New Year and, New Year’s resolutions. Here are some of our 4-Her’s resolutions. Kathryn Sirmon said “One of mine is to have an open mind when I try new things or meet new people and not judge them and say they are a bad person when I don’t even know them.” Kora Tipton said “I would like to get better at my instrument and try even harder to learn new ones.” Brance Barnett said “I grew a lot in 2021 but I plan to do bigger and better things 2022 like doing more in 4-H.” The BF-DC Sr. 4-H club would like to encourage you to come up with your own resolutions for 2022.
