This week the members of the BF-DC Sr. 4-H club are selling bean supper tickets, if you need some bean supper tickets you can contact any BF-DC 4-H members. The bean supper will be held November 8, 2021 at the Washita County Activity Center in Cordell. There will be a carnival following the meal. Come out and support our fundraiser.
Our service learning project this month involves cutting and sewing fabric hearts. We will be delivering these soon.
This week I will be introducing Kathryn Sirmon, our club president. Kathryn is 14 and an 8th grader at Burns Flat-Dill City high school. She is a very active 4-H member and her her project area is dogs. Her favorite subject in school is language arts and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Bond. She plans to get a degree in library science from the University of Oklahoma. When asked about 4-H she answered “My favorite part of 4-H is that there is something for everybody, whether you like music or showing animals or crafts.” A couple other things about Kathryn is her favorite color is turquoise and her favorite pastime is reading.
