The annual Washita County cupcake wars was held on May 23rd at the Washita County fairgrounds in Cordell.
There was lots of competition and over 25 contestants. There were 5 participants from the Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H Club.
After the cupcake wars we had hotdogs for lunch and after lunch we started the stem workshops lead by the Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H club.
They taught us how to make patterns with candy, marshmallow towers, and lava lamps.
This week Washita County participated in 6-county 4-H camp at the Quarts mountain campgrounds by Lugert lake.
A BF-DC Sr. 4-H club member, Brance Barnett, taught a workshop about hydraulic pumps.
