This week, to welcome our new Washita County Agriculture & 4-H Youth Development Educator, the Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H club put together a welcome basket. I will let Paige introduce herself. Meet Paige Wills, Washita County Agriculture & 4-H Youth Dev.
Educator.
I am excited to be the new Agricultural/4-H Youth Dev. Educator in Washita County. I grew up in Huntsville, Texas and moved to Sayre, Oklahoma about 4 years ago. I have loved my short period of time in Oklahoma, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me in Washita County.
While in high school I was a 4-H and FFA member and participated in livestock judging, welding, shotgun club, and horse club. I am a recent graduate from West Texas A&M where I earned my bachelor’s degree in agriculture.
I will be marrying the love of my life, Travis, in June of this year. We hope to one day have some land of our own on which we want to raise a family and have horses and cattle. While I didn’t grow up on a farm or ranch, I have always had a love for agriculture and the desire to keep learning more. While being in this position, I will work to the best of my ability to meet the county’s needs and inspire the county’s youth in agricultural and livestock activities.
I look forward to meeting and helping producers and 4-H members in any way I can. Call or stop by the Extension office with any questions. I would love to meet you and I will be more than happy to assist you.
