Parsons Named To All-State Team

After a wildly successful season, the awards continue to pile up for the Cordell Lady Blue Devils, as Gabbie Parsons was named to the All-State team, Parsons, Sydnee Sealey and Morgen Price were named to the All-Region team, and Parsons, Sealey, Price, Cherokee Mitchell and Lauren Russ were named All-District. Parsons was also named co-MVP of the district. Parsons, who was earlier named to the Daily Oklahoman’s All-State Tournament team, was the offensive catalyst for the Lady Blue Devils throughout the season, regularly leading the team in points. Her ability to score from anywhere on the floor was crucial for the Lady Blue Devils in the playoffs, when transition buckets were less common. She also provided solid defense, rebounding and ball-handling.
