Cordell High School Club Scrub members are joining with Oklahoma Blood Institute to host a Blood Donor Challenge on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at the Washita County Activity Center from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Blood donated at the drive will be accepted to benefit Josh Ferrero, a 1998 graduate of Cordell High School.

Council Takes No Action On Restitution Request

No action was taken by the Cordell City Council on Monday, February 1, 2016, following a presentation by Charles Lowry. He was requesting restitution in the amount of $40,620.00 for a large metal barn he was required to remove from property he bought on Elaine Drive.
