A graveside service for Cheryl Kliewer, 65, Cordell resident was held Wednesday, August 6, 2014, in the Sunset Cemetery in Stinnett, Texas. Rev. Paul Jones officiated, and burial was under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Cheryl Irene (Evans) Kliewer was born January 27, 1949, to Charles A. and Florine D. (Larkey) Evans in Pampa, Texas, and passed away Monday, August 4, 2014, in the Specialty Select Hospital in Oklahoma City. Cheryl was raised in Stinnett, Texas, where she graduated from Stinnett High School in 1967. She was employed with Phillips Petroleum Oil Company for over 15 years. She moved to Cordell, Oklahoma, in 1987. Cheryl was married to “Butch” Kliewer on March 15, 1991, in Clayton, New Mexico. They made their home in Cordell were she helped Butch operate the Service Station. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Butch, a son, Todd Evans and fiancé, Rebecca, of Tucson, Arizona, and two brothers, Mike Hardin and Lee Hardin. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Blake and Kailani Evans and two great-grandchildren, Amya and Mariana Evans.
