A Fresh Perspective

Last week, I posed the question why the United States, as one of the most religious industrialized countries in the world, is so undecided about an increasingly religious issue, the environment. In my studies, the answer I have best been able to come up with is this: While one’s religious orientation is a major deciding factor in one’s political orientation, faith’s impact on political issues seems limited largely to social issues.
