Violet Janette Nazworth-Smith (formerly of Burns Flat, Oklahoma,) was born April 29, 1956, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to JW Lemons and Velma Jane (Pebworth) Lemons, and passed away on February 20, 2014. She was one of four siblings under the age of five (three boys and her). Two more siblings came some years later. Janette enjoyed playing mother  to the boys. One thing Janette knew for sure is she always wanted a baby on her hip. She wanted to be a mother to everyone. Those first four siblings were tight and had fun playing. Janette was a member of the Church of Christ. She was baptized early in life. The family moved to Yukon, Oklahoma, in 1970, when Janette was 14 years old. Janette attended school and the Church of Christ in Yukon, Oklahoma, with friends like Jimilee Green, Jeff Hudson, and Tim Morris. She had waitress jobs at places like The Hill Top Restaurant and Jim’s Cafe. Janette worked for DonCo Carriers in several positions. She also had some bookkeeping positions at different companies. Janette’s last position was her favorite, being a homemaker. She loved her family and anytime she could have a get together or be a part of one she was happy. She enjoyed cooking, growing her own vegetables in her garden, canning, doing crafts with the kids, shopping, beauty products, her beloved dogs and cats that brought her so much enjoyment, and last but not least, having a clean house. Janette’s heart was bigger than just loving her family. She had passion for helping others. She had so much love to give, especially to someone hurting or in need. Janette married the love of her life Johnnie “Bud” Smith on June 13, 1996. They had a good old fashioned marriage. Johnnie took care of Janette and Janette had the time of her life getting to be care taker of all that needed the love. Janette is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Preston Wade Lemons, Russell Wayne Lemons, and Michael Ray Lemons; and nephew, Jessey Ray Lemons. Janette is survived by her husband of the home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; her daughters, Tonya Jo Hall and husband Jason of Wichita Falls, Texas, Katrina Kidd and husband David of Yukon, Oklahoma; and son, Steven Wade Nazworth and wife Melody of Mustang, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jacolby Holt, Jacob Casey, Jessey Kidd, and Gabrielle Hall; great-grandchildren, Jayvalee Holt and Jagger Holt; brother, Johnny Lemons and wife Cindy; sister, Laura DeAnn Lemons Paul and husband John Paul; lots of nieces and nephews and a lot more people that Janette considered her family. Janette’s tender love and compassion will carry on in the people she touched and loved. Janette’s services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 24, 2014, in the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
