Funeral services for Tressa Edwina Kelley, 79 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, were held Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. in the Federated Church with Rick Connelly officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Edwina was born March 13, 1934, in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma, to Clyde and Hyawannah (Price) Ward and passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014, in Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford. Edwina was raised in the Cloud Chief area and graduated from Cloud Chief High School in 1952. She attended the University of Oklahoma and later earned her Bachelor Degree in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Edwina taught in Arapaho Schools for four years and then Weatherford Schools. She loved working with the young people teaching English, History, Geography, Government, Political Science, and Yearbook. She later worked in real estate and land man work. Edwina enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, bird watching, writing, theatre, and geography. Edwina is survived by one daughter, Tracy Henson and husband, Kevin of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, Paul Kelley of Enid, Oklahoma and Pat Kelley of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two brothers, James Ward and wife, Linda of St. Louis, Missouri, and Tom Ward of Mesquite, Texas; one sister, Treva Wolfe and husband, Jim of Allen, Texas; five grand-children; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Kelley; and one granddaughter, Chasity Vandiver.
